We haven’t been informed of new constituencies - EC

Justice Simon Byabakama, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission has said he has not been officially informed of any plans to create new constituencies as presented to Parliament by the Minister of Local Government Tom Butime on Wednesday. According to the EC chairperson, the creation of new constituencies will require an upward adjustment to the budget for the elections.
