In a surprise move from Activision and Infinity Ward, the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2vs2 'Gunfight' multiplayer Alpha is now live, a day early, on PlayStation 4.
You can play the new mode for free all weekend if you have a PS4—no signup necessary, no PS+ needed.
You can either download the 36GB Alpha on the PlayStation Store on your console, or go here online to download the game. The Alpha will run from now until sometime on Sunday the 25th. In this video DreamcastGuy reviews his thoughts on the alpha and how it plays. This is a mix of gameplay, hopes for the story mode, and general ideas on what the final game may play like when it comes to Ps4, Xbox One, and PC later in 2019. This also outlines all the terrible microtransactions that have been added to the previous call of duty games like Call of Duty WWII, Infinite Warfare, and Black Ops 4 last year.
