⚠️WARNING:⚠️📋 PBM Police Write-up: This is sooooo sad how this criminal, Tyler Collins, in an officers uniform is punching 13-year-old Da’veon Cieslack — a boy with cerebral palsy and several mental health issues — while his hands were handcuffed behind his back. Collins beat and pepper-sprayed a 13-year-old HANDCUFFED CHILD! This is exactly why officers are trained NEVER TRY TO BEAT SOMEONE INTO COMPLIANCE!! You never know a persons mental understanding so don’t try to beat a person into compliance. It doesn’t work!! Even though this officer knew that he was dealing with a child with mental health issues, he CHOSE to beat him anyway!There is nothing positive that comes from an incident like this. You can be damn sure the taxpayers WILL be cutting a really big $$$$$ check for this incident! After this video hit news outlets, the police chief FIRED the officer. The DA’s office dropped ALL charges against Da’Veon and states, “his office finds no reason to file criminal charges against the officer.” But this officer has a history of bad policing 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏾♂️ The family of Da’Veon is currently suing for $10 million against the city of Albion, the Albion police chief, and the involved officer.
