It’s a striking natural cave which is flocked by visitors in great numbers. It is one of the most popular limestone’s caves in the Meghalaya state of India. On the other hand, It is one of the best places for the primary cave experience seekers.
The Mawsmai Cave is situated in the Jaintia Hill of East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya and located just 6 km away from Cherrapunjee town. We are now moving from the Cherrapunjee to Mawsmai Cave.
We've already come to close to the Cave. Tourists have to collect tickets to visite the Cave from here.
The Mawsmai cave boasts of wide and amazing entrance with the dark and magical mystery inside. So, most of the tourists are generally return by taking pictures from the entrance area to the cave.
There are some places inside the Cave where set up well artificial lights which allows visitors to see the rock formations clearly.

The length of the cave is just 150 meters long which is not the longest compared to the other caves in the region. But it surely provides one a glimpse of life in the underground.
