Gingerbread Greta Thunberg on show at festive Swedish baking competition

A caravan, a burning cathedral and several gingerbread Greta Thunbergs were on show at Sweden's annual Christmas baking competition on Dec. 15, with an environmentally-friendly mobile home winning the "people's vote".

Now in its 29th year, the competition theme this year was "hot" and it attracted a record 202 entries.

On display at the Arkdes Museum of Architecture and Design, these ranged from gingerbread sculptures of Swedish teenage climate activist Thunberg and Swedish saunas to a model of France's Notre Dame Cathedral, which suffered a major fire earlier this year.

The tasty exhibition at the museum in Stockholm runs until Jan. 5.
