The topic of my presentation is, What is bullying and is it dealt with appropriately in schools? I picked to research this topic because I have been bullied and I know whether or not if it is dealt with appropriately in schools. This presentation was created for my college 1010 concurrent enrollment class. I am a senior in high school who is taking this class in preparation for college. I was able to better understand my topic of bullying and how it affects not just me, but many others throughout the United States. I had a slight change in my perspective of my topic; and that is that there can be a change with bullying and it can come to an end. The change has to come from students who are willing to put forth an effort and want there to be change. To stop bullying will take a long time, but where to start must come from students very young and to teach them that it can cause significant damage to whoever is being bullied. My research helped put into perspective how it can cause such major damage to the recipient of bullying.
