Electro Motive Force - Clockwork Apology

Electro Motive Force - Clockwork Apology ELECTRO MOTIVE FORCE - Pine Hill Isolation Album . (Private Press) . Australia . 1977 .
(Pop Rock) (Psychedelic Pop) (Art Rock)
Stephen Wallace - Piano, Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Vocals
David Billings - Piano, Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Vocals
Greg Smith - Guitar, Percussion, Vocals
A little-known Australian trio from Melbourne, led by multi-instrumentalist Stephen Wallace (piano, guitar, bass, percussion, vocals). Released the only private pressing album in limited edition. Pine Hill is the name of the place where this was recorded hence the title of the album. This is not some amateur hour production but a coherent sophisticated work from start to finish with strong soulful vocals.Could be seen as a distant Australian cousin to Justen O'Brien & Jake in that with both of these works i have the impression that they are drawing on musical styles beyond my usual limited listening orbit.
