Maricopa County can suspend Paul Petersen, but cannot remove him from office

As the investigation into Maricopa County Assessor Paul Petersen continues, Gov. Doug Ducey suggested Tuesday that lawmakers should craft legislation giving Arizona's counties the power to remove elected leaders who can't do their jobs.
