Why the Crocs Guy mascot is scaring the hell out of people. - StoryBrain

So the image of the Crocs mascot started making the rounds this week on Twitter, and a lot of people find it to be an abomination unto god. They're not actually scared by it, but more disgusted, and the obvious cause is trypophobia. So I decided to take some time to talk about where I think trypophobia comes from, and why wikipedia doesn't seem to mention it.
