They think about what they need to become. And they compare themselves to other people - day in and day in.
This kind of living causes great stress and frustration - and can even lead to depression.
The reason that we cannot cope with this way of living is simple: We are not designed to live like that.
We are a highly social species, that are hard-wired to want to live in small solidaric communities, where people help each other with surviving rather than fight like mad dogs over the scarce resources of the planet.
