Nota Bene:
1) The video looks much choppier than the game actually plays. That is because I limited the framerate of the recording to 20fps to minimise the performance impact on the game. This means you can trust the framerate and frametime numbers.
2) Increasing the GUI resolution impacts the game performance not that much, so you might want to do that for sharper text (It really looks far better). Again, I refrained from doing that on purpose for the recording performance.
To set arbitrary internal rendering resolutions, change the .ini file at the path
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Octopath_Traveler\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini
by changing the row
----------------------------------------
sg.ResolutionQuality=45.0000
----------------------------------------
to whatever you want (In this case it would scale both dimension by 45%, meaning if you had set the resolution in the settings to "1920x1080", it will change the internal resolution to "864x486". The GUI resolution will stay at 1920x1080). Make the .ini file after your change read-only, because the game will likely otherwise revert your change.
