Osceola Medical Center - Meet the Expert - Valerie Saladin, PA-C

Valerie Saladin, RD, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant and Registered Dietitian. She earned her bachelor's degree in human biology with an emphasis in nutritional science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and her Physician Assistant degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL.

Before coming to OMC in 2019, Ms. Saladin worked at Park Nicollet Maple Grove in primary care for 6 years. Prior to that, she worked in the Observation Unit in the ER at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Her PA career started in Orthopedics at St. Croix Orthopedics. Before becoming a PA, I was a Registered Dietitian at Mayo Clinic and consulted as a dietitian for HyVee Foods in Rochester.

With her past experience, her medical interests include orthopedics and diabetes. Ms. Saladin diagnoses and treats unexpected illnesses and injuries at OMC’s Walk-In Clinic, from upper respiratory infections and urinary tract infection to fractures and sprains.
