Late Season Winter Storm Developing Friday night - Snow & Strong winds Winter is not over yet for some, as a very late season winter storm moves across the Northern Plains and Great Lakes. Right now most models are forecasting around 5 to 10 inches with a few weather models showing up to 12 inches. This storm system is expected to also bring windy conditions across the High Plains, and Upper midwest (including the Northern Plains). Winds are forecasted to be sustained at 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 55 mph, two models show winds possibly gusting up to 60 mph which looks very very slim. More details are in the video.
