Meet Lily, a woman experiencing homelessness in London. Filmmaker Giulia Gandini gave Lily a camera for 3-days as she opened up about the realities of living on the street.
Even though Lily has an apartment in her name, she’s unable to return to the residence because her abusive ex knows its location. Lily shared her story so that others could learn about the unique challenges women living on the streets experience, such as the struggle to find proper menstrual products.
‘Home Stream’ is a documentary film, shot in London, that gives us a first-person look into Lily’s daily life, as she looks for work, finds shelter for her and her dog Misty, and mourns the death of her love, Nick.
