Fulfilling a new years resolution, I decided to find a better way of storing the varnishes and stains I use in my wood shop. This video is about what I decided to try doing. I decided to decant the stains and varnishes into mason jars/Ball jars, and fill the empty space with argon gas. To make sure that I was pouring out all the good stuff (so, technically, NOT decanting), I wanted to thoroughly stir the stain/varnish before transferring it to the jars, so I whipped up a small stirrer using some bits and pieces of brass I had laying around.
