Downright Nerdy Discussion: Star Trek Picard Preparation Welcome everyone to the #DownrightNerdyDiscussion Season 1. This season will consist of 11 Live episodes / discussions that will be designed to prepare you for the upcoming #StarTrekPicard series coming to CBS this January.
Throughout this season, we will be having guests from other podcasts and YouTube channels participating in the discussion as well as anyone who joins in the chat.
In this video we will be discussing the movie #StarTrekInsurrection.
The main focus of all these discussions will primarily be Jean-Luc Picard specific. A type of character study on the good Captain. We will dive into the episodes and movies that will help us have a better understanding of the type of man Captain Picard is. If you are a trekkie like myself, this will be more of a refresher conversation, however I encourage any Trek fans to come join the discussion and help me get everyone excited for the return of Picard.
As stated above, the first 7 weeks of this season will be a review of Picard-specific episodes of #StarTrekTheNextGeneration series. The following 4 weeks will be about the TNG movies. Then, the Monday before Picard first airs, we will have a recap and a "What we want from Picard" type of episode.
