Efforts of Korea to Build an Educational Power It is a goal of education of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to train the school youth and children as reliable pillars of building a powerful socialist country and build an educational power and talented nation by making all people well-versed in science and technology.

Great efforts are directed to strengthening the ranks of teachers, in particular. The Pyongyang Teachers Training College is a typical example.

Successes made at Pyongyang Teachers Training College
Officials and teachers of the Pyongyang Teachers Training College have achieved a hundred and tens of educational and scientific successes and introduced them into more than 1,760 units over the past 2 years.
The college developed the intellectual and automated educational control system helpful to the improvement of the capabilities of eloquence and presentation of students.
It also created a robot-based educational method to enhance the mental faculties of the primary schoolchildren in a comprehensive way.
It made more than 10,000 pieces of over 30 kinds of educational programs and teaching aids and sent them to the teachers training colleges, primary schools and kindergartens.
The college introduced lots of practicable and superior educational methods into over 100 educational institutions across the country last year.
