Mercedes-Benz VISION AVTR concept for CES 2020 together with James Cameron

At the CES in Las Vegas, Mercedes is looking far ahead into the future of human-car interaction with the Vision AVTR study. The concept study was developed together with Hollywood director James Cameron based on the Avatar film. Inspired by James Cameron's masterpiece, the interaction between humans, cars and the environment is to take place in a very distant future in a similar way. Cameron himself and his entire team helped the Mercedes engineers with the development. Important for Mercedes: In addition to the idea of taking up the mystical avatar world, the Swabians are primarily concerned with defining digital luxury. The Vision AVTR study presented at CES 2020 is intended to show how Mercedes envisages this path.
