Recently a company called LetGetChecked reached out to me to see if I was interested in finding out what my testosterone levels were by using one of the at home testing kits, I was pretty excited for the opportunity. I didn’t even realized this could be tested from home, I always assumed I would need to go to a doctor.

I really wanted to find out exactly how my testosterone level compared to the average guy my age, 35 years old. After all, I've spent the last few years making a conscious effort to be more active and improve my health making small improvement, and it would be a good motivator to see that my effort was paying off. My results were incredible by the way, and I’ll show them here in just a moment.

But in case this is your first time tuning into my channel, for the last 3 years I have done a lot of push ups, I did anywhere from 100 to 500 nearly everyday for two years. Then I switched it up a bit and started working on chin ups while still doing push ups a few times times a week. That then moved into doing exercises with some dumbbells at home. I was never trying to get huge or jacked, I just wanted to get fit, gain some strength and increase my endurance by doing body weight exercises anyone could do from home and wouldn’t require a ton of time.

I got a lot of comments on videos from guys asking if doing push ups and chin ups helped to increase my testosterone. It was an interesting question, because before I started doing my 100 push ups a day challenge, I had begun to notice that I had been feeling tired a lot, which is a symptom of low testosterone. I also felt like my muscle mass had been slowing decreasing, another sign of declining testosterone levels, which prompted me to start doing push ups in the first place. The thing is having low testosterone level can directly affect a man’s performance level in so many ways.

According to Men’s Journal, doing exercises like push ups and chin ups, or even other exercises like squats, rows, bench press and other resistance training that targets the whole body can actually help to boost your short term and long term testosterone levels by getting into a regular routine.

With all the exercises it found doing multiple sets, with several reps was best for the production of testosterone.Your testosterone level is also higher in the mornings, so working out in the evening will give you the biggest boost.

Also as your body begins to shed fat, your testosterone levels will also begin to rise as there is a direct correlation between high testosterone levels and a lower body fat percentage.

In my case with the push ups, I typically would do sets of 20 to 25 and would work to limit the rest time between sets so I could increase the intensity of the push up workout. I also upped the total number I was doing each day and the different types I was doing to increase the difficulty. Most of my push ups were performed in the evening after work. Over time I started to find that I had more energy, strength and stamina which is expected when testosterone in the body increases.
So now let me tell you about the test. If your like me if the cost of your insurance doesn’t kill you, you’re deductible probably will. LetsGetChecked allows you to get a variety of low cost blood test, from home. Saving you time and money! If you are interested in getting a test for yourself, I’ll put the link below and you can use the code SIMPLEMAN20 to save 20% on your order.

Using the LetsGetChecked testing kit was incredibly easy. The night before testing I registered my testing kit to my account and filled out the information on the label inside the box. When I woke up the next morning, I opened up my testing kit, washed my hands with soap and water, wiped my testing finger with an alcohol wipe, then just used a lancet to prick my finger and filled up the vile with my blood sample. Once it was full, you put the lid on, flip the vile upside down 10 times, then put it in the bio hazard bag, but the bio hazard bag in the box, and the box in the shipping bag. Then I just dropped it off to be shipped on my way to work. I dropped it off on a Monday morning at 6:45 AM and by Wednesday morning at 5 AM my results were ready. I’ve had some doctors offices visit where I didn’t get results this fast.

So here are my results, after doing push ups, chin ups and a variety of other exercises for the last 3 years all which you’ve seen me doing on this channel which has lead to me feeling stronger and more energetic. My testosterone level was 766, which is on the high end of the average range for my age and in fact was higher than the average for all age ranges.
