{Download your Summit Workbook here: Many of us make the mistake of believing that pressure ends after college. The pressure in college is nothing compared to the pressure that women go through after college, including pressure from magazines, which affects every woman regardless of age or position in the society. This pressure takes a toll on us, often leading us developing disordered patterns.
Overexercising is one of the disordered patterns that is slowly but steadily becoming a problem. The desire to lose weight and look a certain way makes people overexercise, which is dangerous. Signs that you are overexercising include constant pain and feeling very tired after exercising.
The best way to deal with this issue is to listen to what your body wants because our bodies can handle exercising differently. We shouldn’t force our bodies to do things that may make the whole process counterproductive.
Overeating or undereating is also a disordered pattern that comes on due to pressure. Some of the signs to look out for include losing appetite, avoiding social eating habits, and cutting something out of your diet.
