Construction at Sacramento Convention Center hurts nearby businesses

A new and improved Sacramento Convention Center is continuing to take shape in downtown. The massive makeover project began in August with an estimated completion of Fall 2020. The goal is to attract bigger and more conventions. But in the meantime, conventions are halted, and some neighboring businesses say they’re taking a financial hit.
