Incredible story of an airplane ahead of its time, which would become the hallmark of all Lockheed aircraft to this day. The Lockheed Air express/ Vega / Sirius/ Orion - all derived from this initial air frame, set the records in its class for speed, range, and altitude for nearly a decade beginning in 1927
