Thread Tape Alternatives To PTFE Teflon

What can you use instead of PTFE or Teflon tape to seal up pressure fittings? Today we find out! I had to make something work and found out that you can use a water bottle label as an alternative to thread tape in a pinch. It isn't PTFE but it worked and it made me curious as to what else would work. Maybe this will help you in the future when you need some teflon tape but can not get any.
