So often we know what to do with our technique right? But then we go on the court and just can’t seem to do it. Or maybe once there is a scoreboard you lose that new forehand or backhand that you had been working so hard on all of last week. It’s so frustrating. Trust me I have been there too. It often takes a lot of time, effort and discipline to make a major change to your forehand or backhand technique no matter what it is your working on. Whether it’s your backswing or grip or anything g at all. I wanna tell you it is worth it! I know from experience. It’s so annoying to be at the same level after 6 months of putting in a few hours of hard work on the court every week. Here’s comes the most important part... you must know how to make a change. There is no way you can suddenly change something in your forehand or backhand technique after you have hit probably thousands and some of you 10s of thousands of shots the wrong way. You can’t go to the baseline to rally and suddenly have a new forehand. It’s just not that simple. You need progressions. You need to do progressions that start easy and then each progression becomes more challenging and more realistic. Trying to play a match tomorrow with the new forehand you started last Thursday is just not happening. Your muscle memory will take over especially since your gonna be more concerned about winning and then all that hard work now seems like a waste of time. Not using progressions when trying to make a new habit or get rid of a bad habit would be like trying to run before you can even stand up and balance yourself. This video will show you 6 simple yet invaluable progressions that you can do all by yourself to help you quickly improve literally ANYTHING your working on with your forehand or backhand technique AND make it a habit. Before you know it it just happens on its own like tying your shoes. I’m confident that no matter who you are and no matter how many times you have hit the ball the wrong way, you can significantly improve whatever you want on your forehand and/or backhand. These quality progressions are truly required if you want to make a big change in your game. I know because I use them all the time and guess what? Every time they work! It’s one thing to know what to do it’s another to know how to do it and practice it. Unlike many, Fundamental Tennis doesn’t just tell you what to do, I show you how to do it and why do it. GOOD LUCK! Feedback welcome.
