An old abandoned sanatorium (Beelitz-Heilstätten) that started out as a place to treat tuberculosis but ended up becoming a military hospital due to the world wars. Some famous patients of this place included Hitler and Erich Honecker. The place has been abandoned since 1995 and its beauty still remains til this day.
The curiosity and beauty of the place has made Rammstein use the place for their music video Mein Herz Brennt and also the movie The Pianist, 2002 used the hospital for filming scenes. _______________________________________________
