Antibiotic Uptake and Resistance in Bacteria

In this video we describe in plain English what are bacterial infections and how can we treat them with antibiotics. We then explain the different ways for bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics posing a serious threat to our health. One of such mechanism is bacteria altering the properties of their membranes thus allowing reduced antibiotic uptake and accumulation.
