Homesteading is dirty work. In the winter it can be cold and dirty! Carhartt makes a fantastic pair of overalls that will keep you warm and clean. I can literally go outside to do the barn work in my pajamas. When I come inside the PJ's are as clean as when I left, my overalls take the beating. One HUGE plus to the Carhartt Overalls is that they can be taken off or put on without removing your shoes.
