Mum who killed twin babies blames grieving 'sicko' dad for deaths in twisted letter

Mum who killed twin babies blames grieving 'sicko' dad for deaths in twisted letter A mum who drowned her IVF twin babies on Boxing Day has sent a "twisted letter" to their grandmother blaming the kids' grief-stricken dad for the tragedy.  Samantha Ford, 38, is being held in a secure psychiatric unit in Kent over the horrifying deaths of her 23-month-old daughter Chloe and son Jake.  Their father Steven, 36, says his estranged wife, who set out to destroy his life after they split, has sent a letter to his mum blaming him for the deaths of their kids in December last year.  He told KentOnline: "I'm talking to the police and the unit to see if we can prevent this from happening again.  "My mum is absolutely distraught by this. It's made her ill. She's been crying all day.  "The letter is her blaming me for the death of my children. Blaming my mum for not supporting her and she calls me a sicko and says my behaviour is disgusting."  Mr Ford said it is further proof that his ex is a "narcissist".  He claims Samantha refuses to return their late children's belongings, which are in her family's possession, and she is making it difficult for him to get a divorce.  In a tweet, Mr Ford revealed that his ex had sent a letter, writing: "The UK failed justice system strikes again!  "The murderer who killed my children has sent a twisted letter to my mum. Trevor gibbens unit in maidstone should be ashamed for letting this happen. The injustice continues."  On Boxing Day last year, depressed Samantha drowned the toddlers out of "anger" at her estranged husband following their split just months earlier, and then attempted to kill herself by crashing into a lorry at 100mph.  A court heard she was "controlling and aggressive" towards her husband, and a narcissist who was obsessed with making Mr Ford suffer.  A psychiatrist told the Old Bailey that Samantha “wanted revenge” when she killed their children.  The couple had lived in Qatar for the first 10 years of their marriage, but their relationship soured after they left their affluent lifestyle in the Middle East and moved to Charing in Kent in 2018.  Before their split, Ford had told her husband: “You have ripped my world apart, now we are nothing but a miserable, broken family growing up in a s*** hole.”  Samantha, who admitted two counts of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility, is being held at the Trevor Gibbens Unit Hospital in Maidstone, Mr Ford revealed.  She had denied two counts of murder.  In August, the mum was sentenced to 10 years to be served in a psychiatric unit until she is well enough to be transferred to prison.  Mr Ford last saw his children alive on Christmas Day when they opened gifts together. He then handed them over to their mum, who took them back to her home in Margate, Kent, where she drowned them in the bath.  She then dressed the twins, who were conceived by IVF, and put them in their beds.  Mr Ford, who is in the process of divorcing his wife of 10 years, has previously hit out at her sentence and said he feels like Samantha got away wi
