Demand zones work very good on 15 mins frame. 5 mins would make it too much volatile and 30 mins would hide or change the inside reality of what actually happened.
I suppose you know how supply and demand are formed.
I would say if the zone is broken and its volume is higher than 20 ema, then I call it as a legit break. If the zone is broken and volume does not exceed 20 ema then zone is not broken and guaranteed the stock movement will come back soon or later for a legit break.
A fresh un challenged supply or demand zone works as a reversal point better than a challenged zone.
