Today we are learning the differences between AS WELL and AS WELL AS which can be confused by many English users.
AS WELL and AS WELL AS have really different meanings and usage.

AS well means in addition to something or someone else.
As well means also and too.

AS WELL, too, also have the same meanings.
Tom plays soccer. Samnang plays soccer, too.
Tom plays soccer. Samnang also plays soccer.
Tom plays soccer. Samnang plays soccer as well.

AS WELL, too and also have different positions in the sentences.
AS WELL and too - usually positioned at the end of the sentence.
ALSO - usually positioned before verbs and before adjectives in the sentences.

We like smoke fish and prohok as well.

AS WELL AS means NOT ONLY.....BUT ALSO.....
She bought the necklace as well as the earrings.
She bought not only the earrings, but also the necklace.
We like smoke fish as well as prohok.
