The classical style of education 's been around since way back when, and has happen to be the method of educating lots of the strongest minds in history, including Plato, Socrates, and also our own founding fathers. This style of education was created to walk youngsters through virtuous learning, while educating them to grow through the stages of knowledge, comprehending, and wisdom.
"Classical education emerges as a greater knowing of the moral imperative to others and the ability to create switch and opportunity in the universe even when faced with level of resistance and obstacle (Weeks, 2018)."
In the classical model of schooling)
o Middle- Reasoning/Understanding (arguing with regard to thinking and composing distinct thought, arguing "rightly")
o Later on- Rhetoric/Wisdom (creating new applications, becoming unbiased thinkers and communicators)
Our Mission
Family Church's mission is to help families discover and pursue God's design.
We believe that the implementation of this classical style of education best supports this important objective. We are humbled, yet assured, by what God is doing inside our school.
