I'm not suggesting this will fix every charging issue, but this worked for me and I thought it worth sharing. I received a number of errors and red T on the charge port. My AC charge connector where it meets the 'penthouse' was only held down on one side, resulting in an intermittent fault and error messages. In this state it was unable to accept AC or DC fast charging.
Investigate at your own risk. Hopefully it helps someone stuck on the side of the road one day!
