PhilHealth plays down private hospital group's threat to cut ties; admits unpaid claims | Headstart The state's health insurance agency warns, the plan of private hospitals not to renew their accreditation with the agency will do more harm than good. Philhealth chief Ricardo Morales says the move will disenfranchise Filipinos in need of medical aid. Morales is responding to the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines' threat to cut ties with the agency due to unpaid claims. But Morales believes there's no truth to the plans.
