Faculty of the Foundation Program 2019 take us through the journey of Material Transformation - the Module that entails students to explore and experiment with regular studio/workshop materials. Under this Module, students explored different materials and their properties. At the initial stage, they experimented with Paper , Sunboard, Choksi Board into 2D and 3D dimensional shapes to understand Form and Space.
They later explored casting of Plaster of Paris (POP) and subtraction of solidified POP form into interesting 3D forms. At the advanced stage, they learnt how to manipulate wires and pipe like materials to generate unconventional forms.
