MARANTZ CD-63SE WONT PLAY OR SKIPS OPTICAL BLOCK REPLACEMENT

This Marantz CD player came in with the complaint that it either will not play or when it does play it just skips. I found the optical pickup laser was weak and just needed to be replaced. I obtained a complete mechanism assembly with the sled, and spindle motors as well as a brand new optical pickup.
