Jonathan Van Ness is opening up about his very personal reasoning that led to his official endorsement for 2020 Presidential Candidate Elizabeth Warren.
In his new book, 'Over the Top: A Raw Journey to Self-Love' Van Ness shared about his HIV diagnosis and how he hopes to enact change and destigmatize being HIV positive.
Van Ness shares about a time where he forgot his HIV treatment pills and was forced to shell out thousands of dollars out of pocket on the spot to get his needed medication. Fortunately, due to the success of 'Queer Eye' and other pursuits, he was able to afford it but was quick to realize that thousands of people don't have the same privilege.
