The foundation for the houseboat is a steel barge built at Burmeister & Wain in 1957 for the Copenhagen Port Authority.
The barge was appoved in 2002 by the Danish Maritime Authority as the basis for a houseboat and admitted the Ship Register with a Danish nationality certificate.
