Captain Marvel has been getting overhyped by a lot of people ever since she got her own movie. If you're a fan of Captain Marvel, that's totally fine! I think it's a little silly, though, to match her up against people that are not only not in her brand, but also who could arguably beat her under normal circumstances. A lot of the arguments in this article do not hold up under scrutiny, and I wanted to take a look at why. The main one that I had a huge problem with is the idea that Captain Marvel can beat Batman, even though she can't be Superman, but Batman can beat Superman... Figure that one out.
