By-polls in 9 assembly seats in Northeast end on a peaceful note; high voters' turn-out recorded

By-polls in 9 assembly seats spread across 4 states in the region ended on a peaceful note today.
While by-polls were held at Rangapara, Jania, Ratabari and Sonari in Assam in Meghalaya voting took place in Shella.
High turnout was registered in Arunachal's Khonsa West amid tight security while in the Himalayan state of Sikkim voting took place in three crucial seats.
