Today we are making a dark lager but in an ale style. What this means is that we will be fermenting the beer with an ale yeast rather than with a lager yeast. The recipe will be listed below for the original and I will also list my changes to the recipe. To me while making a beer there are subtle differences between and ale and a lager, but if the recipe is followed, there shouldn't be too much variance between the two. If you have any different style of beer please feel free to let me know. I will try to make a different beer of every style that I know about.
