Hey everyone thanks so much for watching my video! In this video I go over the new user interface (UI) found in the v10 software update. Not only do you get what some of you might have already seen, pitch to zoom and rotate the view, but you also get more detail show of your surroundings.
The lane lines now show much more detail. For example, if there are dashed lines on the road for a turn lane or another lane the UI will show that as a dashed line. Previously, all the lines would be solid. Also, you now get a double line when the cars vision system see the double yellow line.
Something mentioned at Autonomy day was the AP computer was soon going to render and react to objects outside of the lane the car is in. In this video we get a view of that as we see a bicycle riding on the side of the road. Also, its cool to see that along with oncoming cars, the UI also shows the bike as oncoming.
Like I said in the video, the car you see is not my car. v10 is a huge step forward and I can't wait to get it in my Model 3 & Model X!!
