Sex as a Healing Art

Do you remember, once upon a time, before the tyrannical rule of Patriarchy took hold on planet Earth and before female sexual pleasure became a criminal offense, that sexual healers, a.k.a sex workers were regarded as an honored and integral part of a healthy, functioning society?

If we look back to the ancient societies of Sumer, Babylon and other Matriarchal societies, we see that human sexual pleasure, and skilled practitioners of pleasure, were revered, honored, and celebrated for their powerful healing potential.

In today’s world, sex workers are reviled and persecuted by the criminal justice system and society at large. And yet, sex work as a healing art has been alive and well for thousands and thousands of years!

There is no substitute for the medicine of human touch and a safe non judgmental space to explore sensual pleasure. In fact, sexual expression and touch are biologically based human needs that every human has a right to have access to.

Sex workers are skilled providers of emotional, sensual, and physical connection and provide a necessary and valuable service to human beings.
