Fans heaped praise on Brit boxer Tyson Fury following a nervy bout in Las Vegas. Otto Wallin started off strong in the T-Mobile Arena with Tyson testing the Swede in the opening rounds. But, the script went out of the window when Wallin landed a heavy blow above Fury's eye, opening a massive cut above his eyebrow. After a quick check from the medic and ref, it was decided the fight would go ahead. The drama continued as blood gushed out from Fury’s wound with Walling eyeing the moment to keep up his barrage of punches – targeting the cut. Wallin remained fearless and continued to pursue the Gypsy King across the ring, but Fury managed to win enough of the exchanges in the fourth and fifth round. Fury, sensing that he urgently needed to end the fight, then launched himself at the Swede in the sixth and seventh, dishing out the punishment in both rounds. The Gypsy King then continued to dominate the rounds, eventually seeing off Wallin by unanimous decision. Fans immediately raced to social media to praise Tyson, with many still in disbelief that he continued to battle with the cut. Another said: “This right here is why I wanna see Tyson v Wilder 2.” A Fury supporter chipped in: “Have to admire Tyson. That cut did not stop him continuing his push to the final round. He is gaining more popularity with that effort.” But, some fans were furious the fight was allowed to continue with one adding: “What the *** is going on? The ref should have stopped this. “If it was anybody else the ref would have stopped this.”
