John Mullen, professor of British Studies at the University of Rouen, says UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has taken a "high-risk strategy" on Brexit that is unlikely to deliver. After years of tactical manoeuvering on the festering issue of Britain's exit from the EU, Mullen says the prospect of a snap election will mark a welcome return to politics, with voters called upon to choose between radically different agendas for the country.
