Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu has directed the Anjaw DC to verify with Army officials the authenticity of reports of Chinese transgression into the area. Reports of fresh Chinese intrusion had created sensation in the state with BJP MP Tapir Gao claiming that the Chinese may have come as far as 65-70 Km inside the Indian territory to construct a wooden bridge near Changlagam village in Anjaw district.
