Getting an OEM Fuel Sender Working on an Aftermarket ECU for £4.50

Getting an OEM Fuel Sender Working on an Aftermarket ECU for £4.50 Hello all! Today I have implemented a solution that does not cost the earth and will get any OEM in tank sender working with a 0-5v analogue input.
A lot of fuel senders are very low resistance and so will not work with most aftermarket ECU's. Either the internal pull up / pull down resistors do not give enough range, or the 5v rail is unable to give sufficient current to make them work.
Here I put in an independent 5V feed via a DCDC converter and then put in a big 2W 56ohm resistor. The output is then fed to the ECU with complete success!
