Deutsche Bank Chairman Looks for a Successor Aug.15 -- Deutsche Bank’s chairman is looking for a successor. After more than 7 years chairing the bank’s supervisory board, Paul Achleitner will hand over the baton when his term ends in 2022. Achleitner has been a controversial figure in his time with investors criticizing him for a series of unsuccessful turnarounds which led to speculation he may lose shareholder backing in May.
