The Chinese military appeared to have sent a warning to Hong Kong's pro-democracy protesters. It released a video showing its Hong Kong-based troops conducting anti-riot drills as it marked the People's Liberation Army's (PLA) 92nd anniversary on Aug 1. The video was posted on the PLA Hong Kong Garrison's official Weibo account. This came as Hong Kong saw its eighth straight weekend of protests.
