The current owners, Cecile and Gaël Halgouët, purchased the then abandoned property in 2015 and after an extensive restoration, opened a luxury B&B in 2017. Guest in the five bedrooms also have access to the extensive gardens, a very large pool and a number of lovely rooms on the ground floor of the Chateau.
We consider this as the best place to stay in the Blois region of the Loire and give easy access to Château de Chambord, Château Royal de Blois, Château de Cheverny, Château de Beauregard and a little further away, Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire and Château de Fougères-sur-Bièvre. For more on the location of these properties see our Loire Valley Map which gives places to stay and chateau to visit. Cecile and Gaël are the perfect hosts and will make your stay special.
For dinner options consider the Restaurant l'Orangerie du Château in Blois for fine dinning or for a more casual experience try Le Pinocchio in Cheverny.
