BE VIGILANT CONCERNING CHURCH GROUPS AND EVENTS, ESPECIALLY OVER YOUR CHILDREN | Abuse in the church

How trusting are you concerning church groups, trips, outings and events. Do you do your due diligence to verify concerning accomodation, transport, chaperons ... e.t.c. What about, when it concerns your children?

Abuse in the church rarely happens suddenly. It is a process where boundaries are slowly broken, defenses are slowly lowered as people are too trusting, not watchful and oblivious of the fact that they have surrendered themselves, their loved ones or their children to seduction and abuse through the avenue of a church minister, group or church events. In Jesus Name, we are wiser! It should not be so among us and each of us can play a part in setting boundaries and standards that protect everyone. After you watch, go a step further and discuss these things with your children and your loved ones as well.
